Summer season in India can take a toll on just anyone’s skin! Well, the summery heat and pollution surely did a great damage to my skin this time. I have experienced multiple acne breakouts in the past 2-3 months. The stubborn cystic acne and whiteheads either keep on coming again and again or leave nasty dark spots behind on my face that refuse to go away! I have been trying to tackle my acne problem with only natural products and I have somehow managed to eliminate harmful chemicals from my skincare routine. Needless to say, this step has been quite helpful for my skin!

Neem, a natural ingredient which we Indians refer as a “universal healer”, is known to reduce acne with its anti inflammatory properties. It was the first natural ingredient I came to know about that helps with acne. Over the time, I got introduced to many other awesome natural ingredients like different types of essential oils and clays.
