Serums are one of the most potent forms of skincare products. They have a very rich, concentrated formula that penetrates deep down into the skin’s layers and starts working its magic almost immediately.
I was not aware about the concept of serums until I started to take more interest in reading about different types of skincare products and their uses. Now, I believe that a serum should be a vital part of each and every woman’s skincare routine who is in her mid 20s or early 30s because that is when your skin’s need of -something more than a moisturizer- arises!
Winter season makes me slack off on my skincare routine..
…which is not a good thing at all because apparently, winter season = dehydrated skin!
And dehydrated skin = dullness + appearance of early signs of aging!
(A math hater is trying to involve math in skincare, huh!)
It is true, dry and dehydrated skin can make your face look dull and aged – which is not something that you want, right?
So what can you do to prevent it? It is simple, just “feed” your skin with moisturizer at least once in a day! That is what I have been trying to do -everyday- since the winter season has begun, and I have been quite successful in doing it! 😉
Dry and itchy skin is probably the most annoying part of the winter season! In winters, My skin develops so many dry patches that I don’t feel like using any face pack or face wash because they tend to dry out my skin even more. But I am aware of the fact that one MUST cleanse their face at least twice a day with a good cleanser that can effectively remove dirt build up from the skin. Hence, I keep on hunting for gentle, nondrying facial cleansers that are free of SLS and other such chemicals. I have been using this St. Botanica Tropics Balancing Facial Cleanser from last 20 days. It has proved itself to be the best facial cleanser for dry skin that I have tried till date, keep on reading to know how!
Here is a sad fact about me..
I have never eaten a peach in my life because they are not available where I live! 😖 Argghh, looking at their pictures, I can tell that they taste really sweet and juicy. I hope one day I will get to try them out, But at least I have a peach shade nail polish for now. 😛 DeBelle Gel Nail Lacquers never fail to impress me. Peachy Passion is my 4th nail lacquer from their range which I am going to review and swatch today for you guys. This is going to be a quick post so keep on reading! 😊
I hate taking swatch pictures when I have short nails. But I had to make an exception this time because I wanted to show you all this new beauty from Nykaa!
Nykaa’s recent mega sale was much hyped on Social Media. Although the sale was a total disappointment, I loved to see the exiting new launches by their in house brand Nykaa Cosmetics. They have launched new foundations in panstick form, “toothbrush” style makeup brushes, makeup sponges and a whole range of affordable gel based nail lacquers that don’t require a UV lamp to dry! Today, I am going to share my review and swatches of one of the shades from this Salon Shine Gel Nail Lacquer range which is called Vegas Roadtrip. So if you are interested in knowing more about it and see its swatches, then keep on scrolling! And please don’t mind my short nails, I chopped them last month and they have not been growing anymore since then. Ugh the struggle is real!
I have dreaded these two words all my life because I really love my hair.
But of late, I am experiencing a lot of hair fall. It has become so severe that I have to keep my hair in a bun all the time when I am at home, otherwise I will find my hair in whichever room I will go to. I sometimes wonder if I am an actual human being or some kind of hair shedding creature! 🙈
I have a problem.
A problem that probably all the beauty bloggers face.
..or maybe it is just me, I don’t know.
Not trying to keep any suspense here.. My problem is, I cannot repurchase a beauty product.
I just cannot.
Even if I love that particular product, I feel like trying out a different one always – as soon as the one I am currently using is over.
Reason? By doing so, I get to experiment with a whole new product which I can later review on my blog for my readers, that is like hitting two birds with one stone. 😝
