My Take On St. Botanica Tropics Balancing Facial Cleanser

I got impressed by this product as soon as I saw its packaging! I adore such luxurious looking packaging, which is convenient at the same time. The cleanser comes in a clear bottle and a pump on top. The bottle is made up of plastic and not glass so it is travel friendly. Its pump can also be locked so you don’t have to worry about any spillage in your bag. Moreover, I love the fact that its pump dispenses only an adequate amount of the facial cleanser at a time. Usually, with pump bottle packaging, I always end up pouring too much quantity of the product which leads to wastage, but it is not the case with this one! Another thing which I loved about the product’s packaging is that the brand has mentioned every possible detail about the product on its bottle itself, right from the ingredients list to usage instructions and expiry duration. Overall, I will give the brand 10/10 for the cleanser’s packaging. I am going to be really sad once the cleanser is over and I am supposed to throw away this beautiful bottle! ?

The St. Botanica Tropics Balancing Facial Cleanser has a thick texture which somewhat resembles honey! It feels very smooth when I work it up on my skin, as if I am applying honey. Once it gets mixed with water, the cleanser produces a very mild, milky lather since it is soap (SLS) free. It gets washed off in less than a jiffy and my skin feels really soft, cleaned and radiant afterwards.

I had received the product just after I was back home from a haldi function of a close one’s wedding so I was like, let’s just try it right away to see if it can get rid of the haldi from my skin. Now, if you have ever applied haldi (turmeric), you must be knowing how difficult it is to remove every trace of haldi from the skin! I was quite surprised to see how well the cleanser managed to remove the haldi as well as the makeup underneath it (?) in one go. I have also used it to remove eye makeup a couple of times and the best part is, it never irritates my eyes! ? I believe, if it can remove haldi or stubborn eye makeup without being harsh, then it deserves a big thumbs up from my side undoubtedly. ?

The smell of this cleanser is fruity and a lot like papaya, which is understandable since papaya is one of its ingredients! ❤ It lingers on the skin for a while and I absolutely love it!
