Review | Patanjali Honey Orange Face Wash – Best Affordable Face Wash For Oily Skin In India

Hiya readers! I hope you all are doing well. I noticed that I haven’t reviewed a single Patanjali product till now on my blog even though I use many of them in my daily life. So I decided to do a very quick review of one of their face washes. I have used most of their face washes and to be honest, I really like them a lot because they are so affordable. In future, I will try to review more face products by them. But for now, let’s get started with this affordable patanjali honey orange face wash review.

My Take on Patanjali Honey Orange Face Wash

When it comes to hair care products and face washes, my dad prefers to buy only Patanjali ones. You will always find 2-3 Patanjali products lying in our bathroom’s shower caddie. I love their hair cleansers A LOT – that’s why I have been using them non stop since last 2-3 years! Moving on to the review of this Honey Orange Face Wash, it comes in the typical patanjali face wash packaging with a flip flap cap on top and some basic information about the product on the back. Its packaging is very hygienic and travel friendly.

The face wash is of yellowish-orange colour and kind of looks like honey. Now, by reading Honey as its main ingredient you must be thinking that it has a delicious smell, but it actually smells more like orange zest/orange peel/citrus sinensis i.e. a little bitter. I am not a big fan of honey, be it in my food or skincare, but I love this face wash. It has a gel like consistency and feels more like a cleanser instead of a face wash. It has a soap free formula so it doesn’t foam at all, but still cleanses the skin well.

I have used this face wash to remove my makeup, clean my makeup brushes and my makeup sponge as well. It does a great job of removing every single bit of makeup from my face. I don’t think that I will ever need any makeup remover if I have this face wash, neither a makeup brush/sponge cleaner! I love it a lot, BUT, I will strictly recommend this product only to those with oily/combination skin because it can be very drying for normal/dry skinned people, even though it contains aloe and honey. I have dry skin on the sides of my nose and this face wash tends to make those areas even more dry.

  1. Oh, I liked the packaging of this Pantajali Orange wash, and it’s definitely good for travelling, but as you said it is not so good for dry skin – mine tends to be a bit so and is very sensitive, it’s a sad no for me 🙁 I love orange products!

  2. I have liked the Patanjali Aloe Vera, that suits my dry, weird, sensitive skin but then I used a soap from Patanjali and it made my skin feel like Sahara desert times 10 😀 😀 😀 So I think this face wash is also like that and I should keep away from it! The best part is how cost affordable it is! Great review 🙂

  3. For the price, it is a steal! I have bought one a few months back when I was in India and gave it to my sil, so have no idea. Nice review love 🙂

  4. I’ve seen Patanjali face washes everywhere but didn’t think about giving them a try. This one even removes makeup, so it’s worth trying! Nice review sweetie.

  5. Sounds like a nice face wash. I have used the other variant and was very pleased with the results. Pantanjali products are amazing and affordable too. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I have heard a lot about Patanjali products and Baba Ramdev I think started this, its very popular. Good thing about this product is affordability. I don’t have oily skin so this product is provably not suitable for me, but should check out Patanjali products for sure.
