Winter season makes me slack off on my skincare routine..

So what can you do to prevent it? It is simple, just “feed” your skin with moisturizer at least once in a day! That is what I have been trying to do -everyday- since the winter season has begun, and I have been quite successful in doing it! ?

The product which I have been using to moisturize my skin and shoo away the dryness is one of the newest launches in the Indian market. My Take On DeBelle Skin Moisturizer Blueberry Burst 

DeBelle Skin Moisturizer range comes in the same packaging as their top selling product, the DeBelle Fairness Cream which I had reviewed back in 2016. It is a white coloured tube packaging with a grey screw cap on top, very practical, convenient and easy to travel with.

You can find the whole list of ingredients on the packaging itself, which is a great thing for people who like to know all about the ingredients that they put on their skin.

The texture of this new DeBelle Skin Moisturizer Blueberry Burst also seems very similar to that of their Fairness Cream. It is lightweight yet supremely hydrating and moisturizing.

Due to the chilly winter season in India, my skin at the moment is severely dry and dehydrated, mainly on my forehead and nose (I have that rare reverse T Zone skin type – you see!). The only thing that is saving my skin from this harsh winter season is this moisturizer which I have been using from mid December, the time when winter season was at its peak!

It is a multipurpose skin moisturizer and hence, I am using it not just on my face, but also for my hands as a hand cream (just used some of it before I started writing this review! ❤). The moisturizer sinks into the skin super quickly and provides an instant moisturization, that is why it works beautifully as a hand cream as well! I use it on my hands at least 2-3 times a day to keep them soft all day long.

One more thing that will make anyone use it as a hand cream is its yummy, fruity fragrance of blueberries. The fragrance is not too intense, nor too mild. Just perfect and soothing enough!

The product description mentions that it can be used as a day or night cream both. Since it claims to provide protection to the skin from harmful UV rays with natural ingredients, it can be used as a sunscreen during the day. On my face, I mostly use it as a night cream so that my skin can absorb all the rich properties of its ingredients while I take my beauty sleep.

The main ingredient of this skin moisturizer – Blueberry Extract, sets it apart from all other moisturizers available in the market at this price range. It is not too often that you find a moisturizer in the market having “superfood” blueberry in it!

The antioxidant rich blueberry helps the skin to combat skin damaging harmful free radicals and prevents the appearance of premature signs of aging. It is not considered a superfood for no reason!

After using this blueberry extract infused moisturizer, I wake up with a fresh skin in the morning that feels soft and sufficiently nourished. I generally re-apply the moisturizer in the afternoon post shower and it keeps my skin feeling soft for another good 7-8 hours easily. Even those beauties who have extremely dry and flaky skin would not feel the need of reapplying this moisturizer more than two times during the day because it is so heavy duty!

At the moment, I cannot comment about how well it will work for oily skin type or for everyone else once the summer season arrives, but one thing that I can confirm is that it has a really fast absorbing formula (just like their Moisturizing Lotion!) so it will not feel heavy or greasy on your skin that easily!

• Its use is not limited to your face! You can use it as a hand cream, body lotion or even foot cream! While travelling, you will not have to carry 10 different moisturizers for different purposes because this product will do it all!
• It carries numerous good properties of blueberry extract.
