This every day-use foaming face cleansing gel is enriched with neem, holy basil and turmeric known for antiseptic properties. It provides gentle exfoliation with Arjuna, symplocos bark and jojoba meal, banishes impurities from the clogged pores. It dissolves and eliminates dead epithelial cells exposing the tingling fresh clean skin beneath with the help of orange peel. Gentle scrubbing stimulates blood circulation which detoxifies, oxygenates and activates skin immunity. Honey helps in maintaining moisture balance in the skin.

My Take On Just Herbs Livelyclean Honey Exfoliating Face Cleansing Gel

I received the sample size bottle of this unique, exfoliating face cleansing gel in my February Fab Bag. The quantity of the product was enough for me to use it for good 15-20 times (approx) and determine my views about it. I love this product so much that I use it in smaller quantities so that it would not get finished quickly. ? I have a couple of uses left in this sample size bottle. The full sized version of this product comes in a pump style packaging which is more hygienic to use, I’m looking forward to purchase it if I find it on discount somewhere!

This cleansing gel is basically a three in one product. It does the job of a Face Scrub, Face Cleanser and Face Wash – altogether.

The consistency of this cleansing gel’s base is similar to that of honey, though it is a tad bit runny. All those tiny granules present in the base are mild and gentle. They help to scrub off the dead skin cells, but they are not as effective as you would expect them to be. Maybe they would have been more effective if they were a little bigger in size. But still, I have to say that my skin loves this cleansing gel! My face feels very soft after I use it as a scrub for good 3-4 minutes and then rinse off the leftover product. It produces only a little amount of milky lather as it is SLS free.

I prefer to use the dry cleansing method with this product, I will be doing a blog post about this method soon! I cannot say with surety if it works for acne, but it contains ingredients like Tulsi (Basil) and Turmeric which are known to be helpful in reducing acne and fading their blemishes.

This cleansing gel has a refreshing smell of Tulsi (Basil). It gives a cooling effect as soon as I apply it on my skin. Whenever I come back home after being outside in this hot summery weather, I ENJOY using this cleansing gel on my face because it instantly soothes my skin! ? Totally recommending this product for summers! It will remove all that sweat, excess oil and dirt (which becomes obtrusive during summers) from your face, yet, it will not dry out your skin.

• Cleanses the skin while effectively exfoliating it!
• Doesn’t contain SLS or parabens.
• Contains skin benefitting ingredients like Basil and Turmeric.
• Will suit all skin types.
• May work for acne as its ingredients have antiseptic properties. But their website mentions not to use it on active acne. 
• Doesn’t dry out the skin at all.
• Makes the skin appear radiant and plump.
• Can be used daily or on alternate days.

What I didn’t like about Just Herbs Livelyclean Honey Exfoliating Face Cleansing Gel

• I wish that the full sized version was a little cheaper OR, this 50ml version was available for purchase.
• Granules are not aptly sized for scrubbing off all the dead skin cells.
