Tiny-Winy pimples and their effects on my life #GarnierPureActive

Hi readers. I got a mail yesterday about IndiBlogger’s first contest of 2015. I’ve been a member of IndiBlogger for a while, but I’m not active there even though I always get notified about the contests or HappyHours stuff happening over there.

This is the first time that I’m participating in any contest organized by IndiBlogger,  I hope I don’t break any rules. My writing skills are also not that great.

Soooo the topic of this contest isss..  ” Write a blog post on the common problems you face when it comes to Pimples and the effect it has on your everyday life “

Okay, few minutes before reading this E-mail I had actually scratched my  pimple which has magically appeared just below my right eyebrow 😐 and yeah my glasses are always there on my nose to make the things worse! I wear glasses (24×7), you can’t imagine that pain when your pimple gets hit by the corners of your glasses.

I remember when I was a kid, I used to laugh at  those people who were so concerned about these tiny little pimples, I thought there was nothing to worry about them because they just go away with time. When I grew up I realised that I was so wrong, They do disappear in a while, but after giving you loads of pain as well as many embarrassing situations, Just like I had one during last Diwali when my face decided it’s the right time for an acne breakout. Those awkward stares from people when they notice you’ve a pimple on your nose…. it’s an unforgettable experience!

Once a 6 year old asked me if I got hit on my face when he saw my pimples,  I just giggled and said no. It was funny but embarrassing at the same time.

I know that having pimples is a very natural thing, especially in the teenage years, it’s mostly because of hormonal changes. There are some more reasons for the same, Example – stress, dirt & oil on face, unhealthy diet, not consuming sufficient amount of water, etc.

Well I have to write about “common problems I face when it comes to Pimples and the effect it has on my everyday life…”

Okie dokie, I love writing in points instead of writing long essays so here it goes.

…common problems I face when I’m having pimples

■ Irritation – Nope, I’m not talking about skin irritation, it’s about how I feel when these tiny little bumps appear on my face.

■ Pain – I’ve mentioned above how I always get hurt when I unknowingly scratch/rub on a pimple or when my glasses hit on it. Glasses tend to make the skin around your nose oily and also clogs the pores, Thus, leading to painful zits.

I always try my best to give more attention towards the area around my nose but it doesn’t help! I can’t stop wearing myself, I can’t control acne either, you understand my problem?

■ Embarrassment – The first thing people notice on my face is always my pimple or it’s marks which leaves me embarrassed at times.

the effect it has on my everyday life…

Confidence level = 0
I don’t feel comfortable or confident enough with my pimply face!

■ Can’t use any type of cosmetic product because it may(will) make my acne worse. It’s hard for a makeup lover to stay away from makeup!

■ I don’t feel like going out of the house!! 🙁

By reading my post you can imagine how a pimple makes an impact on a person’s life.

If you’re in same boat as me, there are many products in the market which may help you to reduce/prevent acne, one of them is Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash, Honestly speaking, I have not tried this face wash yet, but I’m a big fan of Garnier products,  that’s why I didn’t hesitate for a moment to participate in this contest. I’ve been using their BB cream regularly from a month or so and I’m loving it!

This post is my entry for a contest organized by IndiBlogger and sponsored by Garnier India
