The FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation by Maybelline is their most hyped product. From bloggers to top makeup artists, everyone says that it’s the best drugstore foundation for oily skin which provides great finish and coverage! This foundation is available in only 6 shades in India. I bought it in the shade “128 Medium Beige” which I thought, would fit my skin tone perfectly. Read my full review of Maybelline FIT ME! Packaging 

The Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation comes in a sleek, square shaped glass bottle with a screw cap on top. The bottle is a little heavy, but you can travel with it easily. It doesn’t has a pump dispenser or a nozzle which is quite a put off, but I don’t care about the packaging as long as the product is good!

Texture

The texture of this foundation is neither too thick nor too runny. It blends perfectly on my skin, but sometimes clings on the dry patches around my brows! I apply it by dotting it allover my face and near jaw line, then blend it in with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

My Take on Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation – 128 Medium Beige 

After a lot of confusion, I bought the foundation in shade “128 Medium Beige” which is also known as “Warm Nude” and “Beige Chaud” in other countries. It is suitable for girls with fair to medium skin and yellow undertones. I have fair skin with pigmentation and a few pimple scars here and there. This foundation manages to even out my skin tone in one go, but when I apply its second layer for better coverage, it starts to look a tad bit darker on me!

I have to use the Maybelline FIT Me Concealer if I want to hide my imperfections properly. I don’t have a face primer so I use it on its own and it stays on me for at least 5-6 hours even on humid days. It usually fades on my nose and chin first because that’s where I sweat the most. If you’re someone with dry skin, then you’ll need to apply an intense layer of moisturizer (and a primer, if possible!) before applying the foundation otherwise it’ll cling on your dry patches (yikes!) and your whole makeup will be ruined. I’ll recommend dry skinned beauties to skip this product and wait for the Maybelline FIT ME! Dewy + Smooth foundation to be launched in India!

What I Liked About Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation –

• Highly affordable
• Has lovely velvety-matte finish
• Provides decent coverage in one go
• Blends easily (unless you have dry skin!)
• Doesn’t takes much time to set on skin
• Evens out the skin tone
• Kinda helps to minimize pores

What I Didn’t Like About Maybelline FIT ME! Matte + Poreless Foundation :

• Not everyone will find their perfect FIT!
• Starts to look darker after one layer. I think it happens to me only, since I haven’t heard about such issue from anyone else!
• A pump dispenser on top would have been much better.
