The picture above says it all!

Don’t you think that technology is ruining our relationships in some ways? I am not talking about the usual husband-wife or boyfriend-girlfriend relationship but about our relationship with everyone around us. Be it parents, siblings, uncles, aunts, kids, neighbors or even strangers. We always get so much engrossed with our smartphone or laptop that we even forget to blink! I am not saying that technology is a bad thing, in fact it’s really good and helpful if it’s being used properly. 🙂 Look, I use technology to post all these awesome articles on my blog!  ðŸ˜€

OK, even I should admit that I am addicted to my smart phone and I need it besides me all the time. 😛 Oh but i am not the only person in my house addicted to it, My dad is also in the smartphone addiction club! Me and my parents always go on small outings together at least once in every 15 days to spend some quality time together but still, There have been many instances in past where me, My mom and my dad are sitting together for some family-talks but instead of talking, Me and my dad get engrossed with our respective smartphones while my mother stares at our faces and that is when I realize how a damn phone can ruin some beautiful moments of our life. My mom can also use technology but she doesn’t feels the need to use it. I asked her once if she would like me to set up a Whatsapp or Facebook account for her so that she can interact with her friends online, she said no and told me that she would rather enjoy interacting with them in real life.

Spending time on some social media website isn’t the same as connecting with people in real life. If you send me a funny joke on Whatsapp I would just reply you with “lol” or “hahaha” and will forward the message to all other people in my contact list, But, if you tell me the same joke in real life, I’d laugh my heart out even if I have heard the same joke a million times before! It’s only because we feel more connected to eachother when we are physically together. It’s good to stay in touch with people via social networking sites but whenever you get a chance, you should meet people in real life too. 🙂

This era of digitalization has somehow affected our mother nature too! What was the last time you actually appriciated the beauty of mother nature instead of clicking a photo of it to post on Instagram? Have you ever planted a tree or even watered one? You don’t remember, Right? We people think that planting a tree and taking its responsibility is a huge task but seriously it’s not! Just watch the video below

You see, How a little red cap united all of them! Isn’t it a brilliant initiative by Kissan? Let’s discover the #RealJoy of Togetherness by breaking the shackles of the digital world and instead get down to the root and connect in person, by feeling and sharing real emotions in the real world!
