Out of all the beautiful places in Korba, silver jubilee park is my favourite one! It has been here from I guess around 11-12 years. I fell in love with this place the very first time I went there, right after its construction. It is a huge park full of greenery, different kinds of flowers, fountains and many more things! I love visiting this park during the winter season because that’s when I get to see the colourful flowers in all the nooks and corners of the park. It looks great during the rest of the year too, but it is a must-visit place between the months of November and February. Below are some of the pictures I clicked while I was enjoying my time at this pretty park!
The park is situated on the NTPC side of Korba, Chhattisgarh. It is almost 40 minutes away from my home. This park is a great place to hangout during the weekends and spend time with your friends or loved ones. I don’t know at what time it opens during the morning, but the timings in the evening are 4-8 pm. The area is pretty safe and there are guards all around the park. It has a small lake where you can go for boating. There are fountains in the middle of the lake which look super fascinating. This place gives me positive vibes and I really feel like visiting this park whenever I am upset or stressed about anything. The whole atmosphere of this park is very uplifting.
Right after its construction, the silver jubilee park got famous in the city for its miniature Taj Mahal made with iron. I don’t have a picture of it at the moment, but I will make sure to click one the next time I visit it and upload it here. The Taj Mahal is very tiny and it looks great as a background for OOTD photographs! ? Actually, once you will enter this park with your smartphone or camera, the photography lover inside you will make you spend the next 1-2 hours clicking pictures of yourself and the surroundings. Every area of this park is definitely worth capturing!

You will see a lot of ducks near the lake in this park. Don’t worry, they are not always caged like this. They can go to the water whenever they want to. ?
The place has a small eatery located on the second entrance of the park. You can get basic Indian snacks over there like Chaat, Bhelpuri, Patties, etc. I am not sure if you are allowed to eat inside the park, but you can sit down next to the eatery and you will get to enjoy the views from far. There is also a cool Hotel cum Restaurant nearby called Hotel Green Park where you can stay and have a good meal. ❤ I hope I have covered everything related to silver jubilee park in this post! ?
