Review | Guler Apple Lemon Handmade Soap

Guler Apple Lemon Handmade Soap

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Gorgeously Flawed! 🙂 Today I will be reviewing another handmade soap. This one is from “Guler” which is the sister brand of Aster (wow, that rhymes! ?). If you haven’t read my review of Aster soap then you can do so by clicking here. Let’s move on to the review!

My Take

Guler’s handmade soap comes wrapped in a cute peachy pink paper and a clear plastic coating which protects the soap. You can notice a smell of apple even before opening the wrapper. Although the smell is a bit on the strong side, it is still bearable and pleasant. I love apple and lemon a lot so I don’t have any problem with its smell. I actually found the combination very interesting!

Guler and Aster’s soap have the same ingredients (except fragrances), but the formula feels a bit different. Guler one is easier to use because it doesn’t melt quickly and is not as slippery as the Aster one. Both of them give similar results, but I noticed that this one produces less amount of lather. Still, whenever I use it, I can feel that it cleanses my skin properly.  If I had to choose one out of these two soaps, I’d choose this Guler one for its affordability and “convenience”.  ☺

What I liked about Guler Apple Lemon Handmade Soap

  • Affordable than the other natural and handmade soaps available in the Indian market. (Though the quantity is a little less! ?)
  • Smells good.
  • Doesn’t dry out the skin.
  • Cleanses the skin effectively.
  • Has a good shelf life.

What I didn’t like about Guler Apple Lemon Handmade Soap

  • Not easily available online. Some of their soaps are available on Amazon, but I wasn’t able to find this variant. It’s either out of stock or not listed yet. Will confirm it with the brand and let you guys know about its availability!
