3 Easy & Healthy Dry Fruit Snacks!

No matter what, you should never ever compromise with your health!
But, wait.. It doesn’t means you have to compromise with your taste! Today I am going to share some very easy and healthy dry fruit snacks.. some of them don’t even require cooking or baking! Well, I am an Indian and I have eternal love for Indian cuisine. So most of these recipes have an “Indian Touch” or twist in them. I hope my ideas will be liked by my international readers too! 🙂  Let’s get started with the recipes..






3 Easy and healthy dry fruit snacks!


1. Healthy Trail Mix With An Indian Touch


  • Dry fruits (Cashews, Raisins, Almonds, Dried Figs.. or whatever you like!).
  • Salt
  • Garam Masala (Powdered ground spices)

Take all the dry fruits in a bowl, you can add salt and garam masala if you want to but beware of the quantity. Mix everything well. Tadaa! Your trail mix is ready. You can even store it for days in an airtight container/bag.


2. Crunchy, Savoury Peanuts


  • Peanuts
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder
  • Grounded black pepper
  • Lemon or dried mango powder

Take a few drops of oil in a pan. Add peanuts and roast them for a while(watch out, don’t burn them!) then take them out in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, and grounded black pepper according to your taste. You can add lemon juice too but then you won’t be able to store the peanuts for more than 1-2 days so use dried mango powder instead. 🙂


3. Dry Fruits Laddu

For those who aren’t familiar with the name “Laddu”, They are ball shaped sweets usually made up of Flour, Ghee, Sugar etc. Actually there are so many variants of Laddu, I am sharing the most healthiest one.  🙂


  • Dates (seeds removed)
  • Chopped dried figs
  • Raisins
  • Almonds (roasted)
  • Cashew nuts (roasted)
  • Pumpkin seeds (roasted)
  • Cardamom Powder
  • Ghee
  • Pistachios

Take Dates, Dried figs and Raisins in a mixer grinder and grind them once, it has to be a coarse mixture. It’s time to grind roasted almonds, cashews & pumpkin seeds. Grind them into a fine powder.Now take a pan(put it on a low flame).Add some ghee and allow it to heat for few minutes then add the dates, figs and raisins mixture.Saute it for a while then switch off the flame and add the roasted nuts mixture. Add cardamom powder too. Mix everything well with a spoon. Keep it aside to cool down. Now you can either shape them into small sized balls or lay the mixture flat on a plate and cut them in pieces. Decorate them with pistachios. 🙂
