A lot of us tend to ignore the skin on our neck and only focus on our facial skin. This negligence sometimes results in tanned neck which doesn’t look that flattering when you are wearing a deep neck top. Here are some home remedies that will help you to get rid of sun tan from your neck easily!
How To Remove Sun Tan From Neck With Home Remedies
Take a ripe banana and make a thick paste out of it. Then add some olive oil to the paste and apply it evenly on your neck. Keep the pack on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off.
Gram Flour Pack
Gram flour can help you with all your skin related woes! Make a gram flour pack for your neck by mixing all of these ingredients together –
- Gram Flour (obviously!)
- Lemon Juice
- Curd (you can take milk if you don’t have curd)
- A pinch of Turmeric
Use this pack on your neck at least twice a week to see better results.
Papaya is probably the most nutritious and tasty fruit out there! It has various of skin benefits which we are yet to explore. Here is a simple Papaya pack that you can use on your neck as well as on any other areas where you have tanning –
- Mashed Papaya
- Raw Milk
- Malai (fresh cream)
You can keep this pack on your skin for 20 to 30 minutes. After that, wash it off with cold water. The lactic acid present in milk will help to get rid of tanning to a certain extent!
Sandalwood Powder & Rose Water Pack

Oats & Buttermilk Scrub
Oats act like a gentle exfoliant for the skin. Mix some powdered Oats with Buttermilk to form a thick paste. Then gently massage the tanned area using the paste. You can also use it as a pack and scrub it off once it has dried out, it’s up to you.
