Aster Luxury Handmade Coconut Soap
Price – Rs.200/- | Quantity – 125gm | Shelf life – 24 months from MFG
The coconut soap by Aster comes housed in a black cardboard box which looks simply luxurious. It has all the details of the soap written over it.
The soap is then wrapped in a paper like this. I didn’t take a picture of the soap bar because I was outside and it would have started to melt had I taken it out of the paper wrapping. ? Well that’s the thing with handmade soaps. They start to melt really quickly and get deformed, but they look gorgeous when they are new and unused. This one looks like a bar of white chocolate and even produces a creamy, milky lather which is sufficient for a gentle cleansing of the skin. It doesn’t dry out my skin at all, thanks to the different types of oils and glycerin present in it. My skin actually feels soft and supple after using this soap.
Talking about its smell, it smelt a lot like milk-coconut (perhaps, coconut milk?!) when it was in its packaging. Now, when I use it, the smell is almost unnoticeable. If you like using fragrant soaps then don’t worry because I have another soap from Aster’s sister brand and it smells amazing!
What I liked about Aster Luxury Handmade Coconut Soap
- Free of toxic ingredients like SLS, Parabens etc.
- Handmade and cruelty free!
- Has a very mild, but pleasant smell.
- Produces sufficient amount of lather.
- Doesn’t dry out the skin.
- Good shelf life, even when it’s preservative free.
Hope you enjoyed knowing about this luxurious soap! Stay tuned for the review of another handmade soap which will probably be up next week. I may not be able to do any more posts in the next few days because it’s my birthday on Saturday, 29th and then its Diwali on Sunday, 30th, which means a weekend full of excitement! I love it when my birthday falls just around the Diwali. ☺
So Happy Diwali in advance to all my readers who celebrate this festival of lights. Be safe and burst as many crackers as you want, but try not to harm the poor animals and surroundings. And Happy Halloween in advance to my readers from across the world! ❤
